Bar couplings are the latest method for reinforcement connection in construction. Couplings are used in Russia, Europe, the USA and Asian countries.

Bar couplings are used in the construction of both public and residential buildings and structures, as well as in the construction of structures with increased load-bearing loads: hydroelectric and nuclear power plants, stadiums, railway and metro stations, bridges and overpasses. They allow to connect any types of reinforcement, including heat-strengthened ones.

The assembly time of a threaded coupling reinforcement connection is up to 10 times faster than tub welding.

Coupling connection of bars is up to 2 times cheaper than tub welding.

Coupling application is recommended for construction in earthquake endangered areas.

TYPES OF STEEL REBAR CONNECTION

There are 3 main types of connection:
